Here’s how the process goes…
Tell us what you have in mind. Contact us to schedule a no cost, no pressure meeting with you at your home, to discuss your wants, needs, and wishes. At this meeting we listen carefully to learn as much as we can about your vision, so we have all the information we need to develop a plan. Naturally, you’ll also get to see how we work, so you can make a decision about whether we’re the best fit for you and your project.

Determine a budget. Before we go too far too fast, it’s important to talk about one of the most important elements of a remodeling project: the budget. While this may be the last thing you want to think about during a design discussion, it is necessary to determine what kinds of options will fit your style and your finances. For smaller remodels such as bathrooms, we can develop a budget estimate pretty quickly. Larger projects, such as full kitchen remodels and additions, require a longer and more detailed process to determine a bottom line. We offer all the resources you need to move forward with your project.
Develop a plan. We know the best outcomes happen when your design and construction team work closely and collaboratively; therefore, at Riggs & Martin we offer services and resources that assure the best results for your project. We provide comprehensive design services for your smaller remodeling projects such as bathrooms, kitchens and custom cabinetry. For larger projects, we work closely with designers and architects, whose services we recommend to meet the size and scope of the project. We also love to meet new people, so if you already have an architect or designer you would like to work with, we can make that happen as well. Riggs & Martin offers pre-construction services that are fully explained during our initial meeting.

Construction. The construction phase is exciting; it’s the part where you get to watch your design vision come to life! We spend a lot of time up front planning your project, to assure that the construction phase is a smooth and worry-free operation for you. Every project is different, and may include demolition, foundations, framing, plumbing, electrical, painting and a whole lot more. We’ll provide you with a construction schedule that is tailored to your project, so you’ll know exactly what to expect from start to finish. And, of course, we are always available to answer your questions.
